FAQ
Got questions? We've got answers. Browse through our FAQ section to learn more about Magnilink's compatibility, safety, and usability.
Are Magnilink MAXX, PRO, and ULTRA cables cross-compatible?
No, each range (MAXX, PRO, and ULTRA) uses its own specific magnetic connector and is not compatible with the others. For the best experience, we recommend sticking to one type of cable across your entire setup
Do MagBridge adapters use the same connectors as Magnilink cables?
Yes. The MagBridge PRO uses the same magnetic connector as the Magnilink PRO range, while the MagBridge ULTRA is fully compatible with the ULTRA cable system.
Are the cables compatible with phone cases?
Yes — the magnetic tips are designed to fit most standard phone cases. However, you may experience issues with very thick or rugged cases (like Otterbox) or those with port flaps. The Magnilink ULTRA cable, with its slim rectangular connector, offers the best compatibility with most cases.
What’s included with each Magnilink magnetic cable?
Each magnetic cable comes with a full set of 3 magnetic tips:
- USB-C
- Micro USB
- Apple Lightning
Everything you need to charge nearly any device right out of the box.
Are Magnilink cables safe for my device?
Absolutely. Each cable features built-in safety chips to protect your device from overcharging. Plus, by leaving the magnetic tip inserted in your device, you reduce wear and tear on the charging port — one of the most common causes of hardware damage over time.
